- Why is your company named "Ninety Percent"?
An iceberg only has 10% above water. If travelers only see some highlights with a traditional way, they have only enjoyed 10% fun of traveling. We want to help travelers dive deep for the other 90%.
- How do I find tours on the website?
Just click in "Our Tours" on the top of the front page. In the "Our Tours" page, scroll left or right to see more tours. In each individual tour page, click up or down in the left scroll bar. You can also click the previous or next tours on the bottom of each individual tour page.
- Do you also serve organizational clients?
Yes, we have tailor made trip plans for organizational clients. We deliver professional proposal for each activity.
- How big is your group on each tour?
Ninety Percent offers two kinds of tours: scheduled tours and on-demand tours. On-demand tours are customizable normally it is for small groups within 10 people. Even individual traveler can book our tour. The price difference based on number of travelers is listed in each tour's detail information page. We also have scheduled tour that is meant to be a social platform for travelers. Scheduled tours normally have larger groups. If the exclusivity level is 1, this tour is designed for large groups over 20 people. If exclusivity level is 3, this tour is designed for small groups - within 15 people.

- How do I pay?
Travelers are now encouraged to pay by cash at each tour. We will offer options as pay by credit card online or paypal shortly. We currently receive RMB in cash. We also accept online payment which is based on other major currencies.
- What language do you operate in?
For on-demand tours we use mainly English or Chinese based on traveler's request. We also provide service in other languages based on traveler's request and availability of tour guides. For scheduled tours, we identify the language either English or Chinese on the website.
- What is Ninety Percent's service level?
We position ourselves as "affordable comfort". Our price level is competitive by industry standard. We ensure essential comfort for travelers in each tour, even in remote areas. Some top priorities among the service standard list are: safety and hygiene. We make every effort to improve comfort level wherever we go.
- How difficult is the trek on my trip?
Each tour has two benchmarks: physical difficulty and technical challenge. Difficulty identifies the physical difficulty level. Challenge identifies the skills required / level of danger. Detailed definition can be found by click on the each tour's benchmark text.
- Do I need travel insurance?
Basic insurance is already included in each tour. If you need additional insurance we can recommend where to buy.
