“I  am a wetland protector” is an activity of studying and protecting the ecosystem of the wetland. Travelers will go to the last wetland protection area in Beijing and observe the birds.

Historically, Beijing used to be a place full of lakes; rivers and wetlands. They served as the “ kidney” of the city. In recent years however, because of reasons as pollution, climate change and the extension of cultivated land the wetlands have been dying off. Our destination of this tour is the last original wetland in Beijing. Travelers can lead their children to observe thousands kinds of birds and water animals and plants, and to make bird’s nests, and to release fishes back to the nature to strengthen the ecosystem. Basic itinerary:

1、Leaving Beijing on a shuttle bus.

2、All the way to the last original wetland protection zone. We will learn about the ecosystem as well as the animals and plants.

3、Releasing fishes in the wetland to strengthen the biological chain and activate the aquicolous plant system.

4、Picnic on the grassland out of the core area of the wetland.

5、Hanging up the bird nest inside of the wetland protection zone to enhance the biological diversity of the wetland.

6、Hiking alone the wetland led by the professional local guide and watching bird with telescope.

7、Flying bird shape kites in the wetland protection zone with the real birds.

8、Farewell to the local guide and heading back to Beijing by bus.
